Luna's Journey

Hello, We made it just in time for christmas! Luna got discharge from the Nicu December 19th 2022. When we arrived to the Nicu, we got the surprise that Luna was coming home that night, to be honest we were not full ready. A lot things to learn, the most important it was to lear how to do the TPN in our own. Thank God, we got home health and we had a nurse to help us at home with Luna's care. We learn from TPN preparation, GTube care, Ostomy Care. We came with a full schedule for doctor appoitments with different specialist, we were really scare. It was a lot emotions in between, i am not going to lie my biggest fear was during the night time. We did not have any machine a home where we will be whatching lunas heart beat, oxygen levels. Been so long in the hospital that you get just to the machines and sounds. I remember the first night at home i couldn't sleep just watching her that she was confortable, moving, breathing.
